Authorities are in pursuit of armed criminals who forcefully entered a Rolex store in central London, making off with several luxury timepieces.

On Tuesday morning, six individuals donned in motorcycle helmets menaced both staff and bystanders with weapons, including machetes, at the Bucherer boutique located in Knightsbridge.

The gang abandoned the stolen motorcycle they used to breach the shop’s entrance inside the store, before making their getaway on four mopeds parked outside. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The Police Flying Squad stated that they are making rapid progress in tracking down the suspects and have requested that any witnesses to the incident come forward. Thus far, no arrests have been made.

Officers responded to the scene just before 11:00 GMT while the heist was still underway, as reported by the police force.

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Mather, from the Flying Squad, remarked, “This robbery occurred in a crowded area of London, and we recognize the concern it has raised. Our team is focused on identifying and capturing those responsible.

“Our officers arrived within minutes, and investigators are diligently working to reconstruct the offenders’ actions.

“We are committed to apprehending those involved and ensuring they face justice as quickly as possible.”
