A 22-year-old male has been apprehended in connection with the deadly stabbing of a teenager following a two-week search by law enforcement.

Fifteen-year-old Adam Henry succumbed to his injuries after being attacked on December 9 in Islington, situated in east London.

After a public appeal, authorities took Abdel Dedour into custody on suspicions of murder at a location in north-west London on Friday. In addition, four other individuals were arrested at the same site in relation to the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo from the Metropolitan Police stated that Mr. Dedour had made numerous attempts to avoid being caught. However, he noted that thanks to the diligent work of the police, they are now closer to achieving justice.

The lead investigator expressed, “Our thoughts are with Adam’s family during this incredibly challenging period. There is no room for brutal acts of violence in our communities, and those who commit such offenses must be held accountable.”

Among the individuals arrested on Friday are three men, aged 18, 23, and 39, as well as a 47-year-old woman, all detained for their involvement in helping an offender.

The woman faced additional charges following an assault on a police officer, while the 39-year-old was also apprehended for domestic violence and various driving offenses.

All five individuals remain in custody.

Tsidi Winion, 20, from Handyside Street, Camden, was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon on December 15.
