A bus has collided with a store near a train station in eastern London.

Emergency responders were dispatched to Station Road, close to Manor Park Station, at approximately 09:00 GMT, where they discovered the double-decker bus had crashed into a retail establishment.

Around 20 passengers were on board at the time of the incident, according to the London Fire Brigade, which deployed two fire engines and a fire and rescue team to the location.

Fortunately, there were no life-threatening or life-altering injuries reported, although one individual was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that an investigation into the event has been initiated.

Ninoshan Jeyaseelan, the owner of the shop affected by the crash, described the experience as “just insane.”

Speaking to BBC London, he recounted, “We just heard a loud bang, and the bus driver appeared to be in shock herself.”

Mr. Jeyaseelan mentioned that the damage to his shop was minimal.

“I’m not sure how long it will take to bounce back from this.”

He expressed gratitude by saying, “No one is seriously injured, thank God.”
