A 32-year-old woman has been detained following allegations that she attacked patrons and employees while yelling antisemitic slurs at a café in central London.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers responded to a call on Baker Street at approximately 4:30 PM BST on July 17.

In a statement, they noted that the woman was hurling abuse “connected to the conflict in the Middle East,” and she was taken into custody on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage and several assault charges.

She has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
