The Ferrari driver and seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, failed to reach the podium at his home Grand Prix, the British Grand Prix, for the first time since 2013.

Since 2014, Hamilton has recorded eight victories at the Silverstone circuit, finishing third on two occasions and second once. Additionally, he secured a second-place finish during the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix in 2020.

This marks Hamilton’s first season with the Italian team Ferrari. Currently, he holds sixth place in the World Championship standings with 103 points. The championship leader is Oscar Piastri, who has amassed 234 points.
