From Paris to Court: Extradited Suspect Faces Murder Charges in London Stabbing

A man who was extradited from France has been charged with murder following the stabbing of a 29-year-old in north London in December 2023.

Police responded to a call at the Abbey Estate on Abbey Road at 19:32 GMT on December 29, 2023, where they discovered Ahmed Ali Jama suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later that night.

Arlind Hashani, 22, residing on Bray Fellows Road, was apprehended in Paris on July 30 before being brought back to the UK.

On Friday, the Metropolitan Police announced that Mr. Hashani has been charged in connection with the homicide in Camden.

He is scheduled to make an appearance at Wood Green Crown Court on Tuesday.
