Former UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal believes that Lionel Messi could find success in mixed martial arts (MMA). According to Masvidal, the Argentine soccer player possesses the physical attributes and discipline necessary to compete in the sport if he dedicated sufficient time to it.
“Messi is an extraordinary athlete. He’s one of the most disciplined individuals to ever walk the earth. He is in excellent shape, but fighting is different. With his mentality and the physical gifts he has been given, I’m confident that if he seriously committed to this and put in the necessary effort, he could achieve a lot,” Masvidal said, as reported by Goal.
