Former Spartak Moscow player **[Mikhail Ignatov](https://www.championat.com/football/article-4629099-mihail-ignatov-pereshel-v-sochi.html)** has joined the Sochi team, according to a source familiar with the situation who spoke to “Championat.” The ex-midfielder of Spartak is expected to sign a contract with the club soon. Earlier, insider Ivan Karpov reported on the agreement with the player.

Spartak announced Ignatov’s departure on June 1. He is a graduate of their academy.

During his time with Spartak’s first team, the midfielder played in 132 matches across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing 16 assists. According to information on the Transfermarkt website, his market value is currently €1.2 million.
