**Evgeny Donskoy**, a former tennis player and coach of **Karen Khachanov**, admitted that he has no desire to return to the tour as a player.
“Do you ever feel like coming back as a player? Absolutely not. We discussed this recently. I enjoy playing with Karen, and it’s a lot of fun, but I don’t want that pressure anymore. I mean, when you have a match point or your opponent has a break point, that kind of pressure is intense. You have those 15 seconds to determine the outcome of the match, and it leads to anxiety and tension. So, I don’t miss that at all. On the contrary, I hope I never have to play again. At least not for now… And there’s also the financial aspect to consider. I realize that if I were to start training again, what would happen? I’d be doing it alone, without a coach. Plus, I have a family and two kids. If I were on my own, it might be a different story. But as it stands, it just doesn’t seem feasible. I need to earn a living. I attempted to make a career in tennis over the past two years, but nothing worked out,” Donskoy said in an interview with Championat’s reporter Arina Poluyanova.
