The Italian midfielder for Fiorentina, **[Nicolo Zaniolo](https://www.fiorentina.com/en/tags/28633-nikolo-dzanolo/)**, who is currently on loan from Galatasaray, addressed the incident that took place after the match between the youth teams of Fiorentina and Roma. Earlier, the press service of the Roman club reported that the player entered their locker room, where he had a confrontation with certain players and allegedly used force against two individuals.

“After the match, I went down to the Fiorentina locker room to congratulate the guys, and then I visited the Roma locker room to greet and congratulate them on the end of the season. However, at some point, they began to insult me, and to avoid escalating the situation, I chose to leave,” Zaniolo’s statement was shared by the official Fiorentina website.

It’s worth noting that Zaniolo spent five years playing for Roma.
