Two-time Olympic champion in pole vaulting, **[Armand Duplantis](https://www.example.com)**, has expressed his readiness to break his own world record.

On June 15, Duplantis set a new world record in pole vaulting, marking the twelfth time he has surpassed his previous achievements. He cleared a height of 6.28 meters on his first attempt during the Diamond League event in Stockholm. The runner-up was Marshall, who cleared 5.90 meters, followed by Menno Vloon from the Netherlands with a height of 5.80 meters.

“I just need one perfect attempt. Technically, physically, and in many aspects, I’m capable of doing it,” Duplantis told Aftonbladet.

At just 25 years old, Duplantis has claimed gold medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the upcoming 2024 Paris Games. He is a two-time world champion (2022 and 2023), a three-time indoor world champion (2022, 2024, and 2025), a three-time European champion (2018, 2022, and 2024), and the 2021 European indoor champion.
