Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic (currently ranked fifth in the world) has matched the record set by former world number one and 20-time Grand Slam champion, Swiss player Roger Federer, for the most qualifications for the ATP Finals. This was reported by the ATP press service.
Djokovic has qualified for the ATP Finals 2025, which is scheduled to take place in Turin this November. This marks his 18th qualification for the event, the same number as Federer achieved.
In reality, Djokovic has participated in the tournament 16 times, missing out in 2024 due to an injury. Roger Federer competed in the ATP Finals 17 times, only skipping the event in 2020.
The ATP Finals 2025 will be held in Turin, Italy, from November 9 to 16. In addition to Djokovic, the current tournament champion, Italian Jannik Sinner, and Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz have also secured their spots.
