Dana White Eyes UFC Event in Georgia to Honor Champion Merab Dvalishvili

UFC President Dana White expressed his intention to host an event in Georgia, specifically organized for the 34-year-old current UFC bantamweight champion, Merab Dvalishvili.

“Just today, I had a meeting with someone from the Georgian government. He mentioned that he wants to see a UFC event in Georgia. I would love to bring Merab back home. It goes without saying,” White said, as reported by Bloody Elbow.

As a reminder, Merab is set to compete at UFC 323 on December 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He will face Russian fighter Petr Yan in what will be a rematch for both competitors.
