Christian Kivu Takes the Helm as Inter Milans New Head Coach

The new head coach of the Italian club Inter Milan is Romanian expert Cristian Chivu. The announcement regarding his contract, which runs until the summer of 2027, was made on the official website of the Milanese club.

Cristian Chivu played for Inter from 2007 to 2014 before ending his playing career. The 44-year-old began his coaching career with the youth teams of the prestigious Milan club and served as the head coach of Italian club Parma from February to June 2025.

As the head coach of Inter, Cristian Chivu succeeds Simone Inzaghi. The Italian, who led the team to the UEFA Champions League finals twice, will continue his career at Al-Hilal, a team in the Saudi Arabian league.
