Cejudo Predicts UFC Will Dominate Global Sports Landscape in Next 10-15 Years

Former UFC two-weight champion **Henry Cejudo** stated that mixed martial arts will become the largest sport in the world within the next 10 to 15 years.

“At this moment, I believe that UFC, the sport of mixed martial arts, will surpass all others and become the most prominent sport globally in the next decade or so—outpacing soccer, the NFL, and football worldwide—because it’s not about teams; it’s about individual athletes. It’s much more akin to war, to combat, so how can you not appreciate a sport where the core is not a team environment but rather the support of an entire nation?” — Cejudo’s remarks were reported by TMZ.

His last fight was in February 2025, where he achieved victory over the Chinese fighter Song Yadong.
