Canadian Rookie of Lokomotiv Shares Insight from Kevin Pangos on Saint Petersburg

Newcomer of Lokomotiv-Kuban, **[Kassius Robertson](https://www.example.com/tags/44318-kassius-robertson/)**, shared the conversation he had with fellow Canadians before joining the Krasnodar team. According to the basketball player, he spoke with former Zenit player **Kevin Pangos**.

**“In the Canadian national team, you’ve played with a lot of guys who have had experience in the VTB. Did you consult any of them, like Philip Scrubb, Kevin Pangos, or Kenny Cherry, before your move?”**
“They are all good friends of mine. I actually chatted with Kevin Pangos. He was one of the first people I reached out to. We have a great relationship, having played together for the national team and at Valencia. I have a lot of respect for Kevin; he’s an exceptional player and a legend in Canadian basketball. Everyone knows Kevin Pangos. Regarding Zenit, he mentioned that St. Petersburg is one of his favorite cities throughout his career.

I haven’t been there yet, but I’m sure it’s beautiful. Kevin also told me that the transition from Spain to Russia involves significant changes, both culturally and linguistically. In Spain, where we played, most people spoke English. However, he said he really enjoyed his time there and that I would have a fantastic experience as well,” Robertson told Championship correspondent Arina Ershova.
