A bus driver has been hospitalized following an accident in central London that left several passengers and pedestrians reportedly injured.

According to the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance responded to the scene on Victoria Street in Westminster around 08:20 BST.

The police confirmed that there have been no fatalities associated with the incident.

A spokesperson for LAS stated that the situation is still developing, and they are collaborating with other emergency services.

Rosie Trew, who leads bus service delivery at TfL, commented: “Our thoughts are with those who were hurt in the bus incident at Victoria Street.

“We are cooperating with the police and the operator, Transport UK, to promptly investigate this matter.”
