BRICS Nations Clash at Tekken 8 Championship in Moscow: Competitors from 22 Countries Set to Battle for 3.5 Million Rubles

The Russian Computer Sports Federation has announced the third BRICS Championship for Tekken 8. The tournament finals will take place in Moscow from May 31 to June 1, with a prize pool of 3.5 million rubles.

Cyber athletes from 22 countries will participate in the championship, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, India, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Iran, Vietnam, Bolivia, Cuba, the UAE, Uganda, Brazil, and Indonesia.

Each nation will be represented by two players at the BRICS Championship 2025, with Russia fielding national team members Sergey “Strog” Platov and Vyacheslav “Caliber” Novikov. The strongest contenders will emerge from the domestic qualifiers to compete in the finals in Moscow.
