First, we need to win the Gagarin Cup, and then we’ll see whether I’ll head to the NHL or not,” Atanasov’s comments were reported by Sport-Soviet.

In the current KHL regular season, the 23-year-old forward has accumulated 7 points (3 goals and 4 assists) in eight matches. Last season, Atanasov recorded 35 points (17 goals and 18 assists) over the course of 59 games in the regular season.
