The head coach of Arsenal, **Mikel Arteta**, has expressed his intention to invite a team of fighter pilots from the Royal Air Force to enhance communication with his players.
The Spanish manager is frustrated that conveying messages from him to the players on the field takes too long. He aims to have the pilots analyze the communication and training processes at the club to improve overall internal communication.
“I’m sure they wouldn’t use 20 sentences or 20 words when just one would suffice. For example, ‘No, the wind is blowing from this direction, so you need to turn left’—boom, you’re done. It’s just a single word,” the coach explained, as reported by The Telegraph.
Previously, Arteta has employed unconventional training methods at the club, such as hiring pickpockets to heighten the players’ awareness and playing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” during training sessions ahead of matches against Liverpool.
