The publication Variety reports that “Ted” will be continuing as an animated series. While the details of the bear Ted’s new adventures remain under wraps, the storyline will take place after the events of the original films.
Seth MacFarlane, the writer of the first two movies and known for “Family Guy,” will be handling the script. He is also set to reprise his role as the voice of Ted. Additionally, fans can expect to hear from Mark Wahlberg, who starred in “Pain and Gain,” and Amanda Seyfried, known for “Les Misérables.”
The plot of the original films follows a young boy named John, who wished for his teddy bear Ted to come to life. This wish came true, and the boy began living and interacting with his new friend. However, as the characters grew up, life became less magical. John found the love of his life, and his relationship with the perpetually jovial bear could potentially complicate his romance.
