The duo of Russian players, Ekaterina Aleksandrova and Mirra Andreyeva, has concluded their participation in the doubles event at the WTA-500 tournament taking place in Brisbane, Australia. In their second-round match, they faced defeat against Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina and Serbia’s Aleksandra Krunic. The match lasted for 51 minutes and ended with a score of 1-6, 3-6.

During the encounter, Aleksandrova and Andreyeva recorded two aces, committed seven double faults, and converted one out of one break point. Meanwhile, their opponents notched two aces, one double fault, and successfully converted five out of seven break points.

Looking ahead, both Mirra Andreyeva and Ekaterina Aleksandrova are set to compete in the singles events of the tournament in Brisbane.
