Sky Sports Analyst Discusses McLarens Potential Slip Ratio Misjudgment in Vegas GP

A reporter from the British channel Sky Sports, **Ted Kravitz**, shared his thoughts regarding the potential disqualification of two McLaren cars following the Las Vegas Grand Prix due to excessive wear on the skid strips.

“There are numerous reasons McLaren might provide to explain why they failed to accurately assess the wear on the skid strips. They might have believed it would be a two-stop race, or perhaps the track’s bumps were more severe than anticipated. It’s also possible they didn’t fully analyze the conditions during practice.

However, none of that matters. If you set your car too low, you’re gaining an advantage that other teams would deem unfair, as it violates the regulations,” Kravitz stated during his segment on Sky Sports.
