Nikita Smirnov Transferred from SKA to Traktor: A New Chapter for the Defender

According to information from “Championat”, defender Nikita Smirnov has been traded from SKA to Traktor. It is worth noting that the player’s contract with the army club was valid until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Smirnov has been part of the SKA system since 2015, working his way up from the academy to the KHL team. He made his debut for SKA in 2021 and played for the Russian national team for the first time later that year during the Euro Tour. In April 2022, he won the Kharlamov Cup with “SKA-1946”.

In total, he has participated in 67 games in the Kontinental Hockey League, scoring four goals and providing 11 assists, with a -1 plus/minus rating.
