Pimblett Calls Out Topuria for Hypocrisy, Urges Him to Sign Fight Contract

A 30-year-old popular UFC fighter, currently ranked sixth in the lightweight division, the Englishman Paddy Pimblett, has accused the unbeaten 28-year-old UFC champion in the welterweight category, the Spanish-Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria, of deceit and hypocrisy.

“I just want Ilia to sign the fight contract, man. Topuria has been running his mouth about me, calling me irrelevant and an undeserving contender. I believe Ilia is just stalling and avoiding a matchup with me. If you’re such a tough guy, why don’t you agree to a fight with me and prove it? Come on, just like Mike Tyson said, ‘Sign the contract, big boy,'” Pimblett was quoted as saying by MMAJunkie.
