The UFC press service announced that the match between former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiří Procházka from the Czech Republic and former title challenger Khalil Rountree Jr. from the United States has been recognized as the best fight of October in the promotion. This bout took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 5.

The fight progressed to the third round, where Jiří’s advantage grew with each passing second as he dominated Rountree on the feet, ultimately securing a knockout with an uppercut.

This victory marked Procházka’s 32nd win in his professional career, bringing his record to five losses and one draw. He is currently on a two-fight winning streak after defeating Jamahal Hill prior to this bout.

Rountree, on the other hand, suffered his eighth defeat. He currently holds a record of 15 MMA victories and one no contest.
