The advisor of “Alpin,” Flavio Briatore, has commented on the performance of the team’s Argentine driver, Franco Colapinto, in recent races.

“He has significantly improved lately. In the last four races, he has performed at the same level as Pierre Gasly,” Briatore was quoted as saying by Auto Motor und Sport.

To remind, after 20 races, Colapinto is currently in 20th position, while his teammate, the Frenchman Pierre Gasly, is in 18th place. The new leader in the drivers’ standings is British driver Lando Norris from McLaren.
