Turkish Volleyball Team Dominates Bulgaria in Group Stage of World Championship 2025

The Turkish women’s national volleyball team triumphed over Bulgaria in their match of Group E at the 2025 World Championship being held in Thailand. The final score was 3:0 (25:23, 25:19, 25:13) in favor of the Turkish players.

This victory marked Turkey’s second win in the group stage of the 2025 World Championship. In their first match of Group E, the Turkish team had already outperformed Spain, winning 3:0 (21:25, 19:25, 17:25). On the other hand, Bulgaria faced its second defeat in this tournament.

Earlier in the day’s matches in Group E, Canada secured a win against the Spanish team with a score of 3:2 (22:25, 28:26, 24:26, 25:15, 15:10).

The Women’s Volleyball World Championship 2025 is taking place from August 22 to September 7. The current world champion is the Serbian national team.
