For 16 days starting this Friday, free outdoor theatre, circus, and dance shows will be showcased in south-east London.
In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival will feature performances from 30 arts companies from around the globe.
Additionally, the Greenwich Fair will take place during the Bank Holiday weekend as part of the festivities.
Bradley Hemmings, the artistic director of the festival, remarked, “This year our ‘stage’ expands in all directions — encompassing parks, town centres, basketball courts, rooftops, and waterways.”
A representative from the Royal Borough of Greenwich declared that this year’s festival boasts the “largest and most impressive lineup yet.”
