Authorities are seeking to identify a woman captured on video dancing in the street, who is believed to have been struck by a vehicle following a concert in north London.

A passerby recorded her dancing in the roadway at Engineers Way, close to Wembley Arena, on Thursday night, where she narrowly escaped colliding with oncoming cars.

According to the Metropolitan Police, a vehicle struck the woman around 23:10 BST, causing her to be carried on the hood for approximately 30 yards (27 meters) before she was thrown to the street. The driver did not stop after the incident. Although an ambulance was summoned, the woman had left the scene by the time emergency personnel arrived.

A 33-year-old woman was taken into custody on suspicion of reckless driving and operating a vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit, but she has since been released on bail.

At the time of the incident, the vicinity surrounding Wembley Arena was filled with concertgoers who had just attended a performance by dancehall musician Alkaline, according to police reports.

The police have stated their intent to locate and speak with the woman in the video to ensure she receives the necessary medical care.
