Slanov: Disappointment in Dubois after Usyk Defeat

Renowned Russian coach **Vitaly Slanov** expressed his disappointment regarding the performance of 27-year-old British boxer **Daniel Dubois** in the fight against the 38-year-old unbeaten Ukrainian **Oleksandr Usyk** for the heavyweight boxing championship title. Their match took place today at Wembley Stadium in London, where Usyk emerged victorious by knockout in the fifth round.

“I’m not sure what happened with Dubois. He’s a strong guy, but he’s clearly on a different level than Usyk. He had a good match against Joshua, but this time… One can only tip their hat to Usyk for his boxing skills. What happened, happened. Daniel let us down,” Slanov told Championship correspondent Sergey Sorokin.
