On Thursday, the City of London will witness a count of bees, butterflies, and moths to assess the health of local insect populations.
The Annual Pollinator Count is designed to monitor these species, enhancing our understanding of the diversity present within the square mile and their contributions to the ecosystem.
This counting initiative, coordinated by the charity Pollinating London Together, will be conducted in locations such as the Christchurch Greyfriars Church Garden, St Paul’s Festival Garden, and Inner Temple Garden.
Everyone is invited to join the count by downloading the FIT app, which allows them to log any pollinators they encounter in any green space throughout the square mile.
