Albert Batyrgaziev Set to Face James Dickens at IBA Pro 7 Champion’s Night in Istanbul on July 2

On July 2nd in Istanbul, Turkey, the IBA.Pro 7 Champion’s Night tournament will take place.

In the main event, the interim WBA champion in the super featherweight division (up to 59 kg), Russian fighter Albert Batyrgaziev (12-0, 8 KOs) will face off against British boxer James Dickens (35-5, 14 KOs).

Albert Batyrgaziev is 26 years old. The Russian, who won gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, turned professional in 2020. He boasts a victory over former world champion, Panamanian Jesreel Corrales.

James Dickens is 34 years old and began his professional career in 2011. In March 2021, he fought for the IBF title in the super featherweight category (up to 57.2 kg) against fellow Brit Kid Galahad, but lost the bout by stoppage.
