Metallica has revealed plans for a series of six concerts in the UK and Ireland during the summer of 2026, as part of their extensive M72 world tour.

The legendary metal band will kick off their UK shows at Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 25, following two performances in Dublin on June 19 and June 21.

After their time in Ireland, they will head to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 28, and will conclude their tour in London with shows on July 2 and July 5.

These upcoming events mark their first performances in the UK since they headlined the Download festival in 2023.

The M72 tour has been ongoing for four years, covering regions in Europe and North America, with upcoming shows scheduled in Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East later this year.

This tour supports the band’s 11th studio album, titled “72 Seasons,” which was released in 2023.
