Alexander Gallyamov Still Out of Ice Training After Leg Injury

Renowned Russian coach **Tamara Moskvina** has revealed that her student, world, European, and Russian champion **[Alexander Gallyamov](https://www.example.com/tags/30801-aleksandr-gallyamov/)**, who competes alongside **Anastasia Mishina**, has yet to resume on-ice training. It’s important to note that Gallyamov sustained a leg injury during a tournament held around late February to early March at Baikal, which took place in a closed format.

“The condition is improving, but he hasn’t started training on the ice yet,” Moskvina was quoted as saying by **RIA Novosti**.

There have been several theories surrounding Alexander’s injury. Initially, reports suggested that Gallyamov had broken his ankle. However, the skater himself mentioned he had twisted his ankle, while his coach, Tamara Moskvina, stated that the injury occurred while he was performing a spin. Later, it was discovered that Gallyamov had cut his finger on his partner’s skate, and during an attempt to take a nice picture, he injured his leg as well. As a result of the injury, Mishina and Gallyamov decided to take a break from both training and competitions.
