Amurs Coach Reflects on Fifth Consecutive Loss Against Ak Bars: We Strayed From Our Game

The head coach of “Amur,” **Alexander Andrievesky**, commented on the team’s loss to “Ak Bars” (3-5).

“We played well until we scored our third goal, but afterward, we seemed to step back from the game, allowing the opponent to shift play into our zone. This led to some silly mistakes that resulted in goals against us. Why didn’t we challenge the fourth goal? From the bench, we had limited visibility, and the teams didn’t hear from the video coaches. It wasn’t exactly a clear-cut decision; it was hard to tell whether there was contact or not. So we chose not to challenge it,” Andrievesky stated, according to the KHL website.

“Ak Bars” claimed their third win over “Amur” this season. The Khabarovsk team has now faced five consecutive losses.
