Forward of Newcastle United, **[Harvey Barnes](https://www.nufc.co.uk/players/harvey-barnes)** commented on his winning goal during the 21st round of the Premier League match against Leeds United, which ended 4-3. He scored twice, with his second goal coming in the 90+12 minute, securing the victory. According to Opta, this is the latest winning goal recorded in the Premier League since they began tracking such statistics in the 2006/2007 season.

“It was quite bizarre; everything was very unpredictable. I don’t think we were at our best, but the way the game finished and how I feel right now… the performance doesn’t really matter anymore, it’s all about the result.

I don’t have a clear memory of that moment: I turned, struck the ball, hoped for the best, and then started celebrating. It’s all a bit hazy when you’re in the box; it’s just instinct to try and score, and in a crowd like that, anything can happen.

Everyone knows about the atmosphere here, but when a winning goal comes in the dying minutes, it’s something truly special,” Barnes said, as quoted by Newcastle’s official website referencing Sky Sports.
