Former football player and coach of Moscow’s Spartak, Valery Gladilov, shared his thoughts on the club’s decision to extend the contract with midfielder Roman Zobnin. The new agreement with the player is set to last until the summer of 2027.

“It’s a wise and correct decision! Zobnin has contributed a lot to Spartak, and he remains with the club to continue helping, and perhaps he will even assume a role in the team’s management in the future,” Gladilov commented in an interview with Championship correspondent Nikolai Baranov.

Roman Zobnin has been with Spartak since the summer of 2016. In the current season, he has appeared in 19 matches for the red-and-whites in the Russian Premier League and the Fonbet Cup, scoring one goal.
