Suleimanov Analyzes FC Krasnodars Prospects with 11 Academy Graduates on the Field

The forward for Sporting Kansas City, **[Magomed-Shapi Suleimanov](https://www.example.com)**, shared his thoughts on the tournament prospects for FC Krasnodar if the team were to field 11 homegrown players. Suleimanov had previously played for the Bulls early in his career.

“The rules have changed in the RPL now. Cordoba is one of the strongest players in the league and is crucial for Krasnodar. Winning the championship with a lineup of 11 homegrown players is incredibly challenging. Throughout the season, you need leaders who can guide the team. However, I believe Sergey Nikolayevich [Galitsky] will not give up on his dream.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t succeed. We were the first academy graduates to score in European competitions. But the circumstances have changed. I faced tough competition from players like Vanderson, Klasson, Pasha Mamaev, and Laborde. They were exceptional talents, and it was difficult to outshine them. The current graduates arrived at a different time and have developed into the team’s leaders. However, we can only discuss potential once Krasnodar plays in Europe. Right now, there are only two top teams in Russia—Krasnodar and Zenit. The others are good, but only these two are truly competing for the title,” Suleimanov stated during a broadcast on Match TV.
