The head coach of the NBA team Sacramento Kings, Doug Christie, shared his thoughts about the star forward Domantas Sabonis.

“Domantas called me. We’ve been in touch and have exchanged messages. We haven’t yet gone into details about everything — mostly, we’ve talked about life. But I have a huge amount of affection for him. He has played a significant role in many of my endeavors, and it’s a great honor for me to work with such an outstanding talent.

Regarding his work and everything else — we just need to meet up and discuss his goals and plans. I have a general idea of what they are, but it’s essential to look at them from a fresh perspective to ensure he has everything he needs. I will do everything necessary to make that happen,” Christie stated, as quoted by Eurohoops.

Following the decision by Sacramento to part ways with Mike Brown at the end of 2024, Doug Christie was appointed as the interim head coach, which allowed the Kings to reach the play-in tournament for the 2024/2025 season, where they faced the Dallas Mavericks.
