Basketball Family Assaults Referee at Russian 3×3 Cup Qualifier

The chief referee, **Nikita Skavinsky**, was assaulted during a qualifying match for the 3×3 Russian Cup in Sochi. This information was reported by the Telegram channel [Kub Mash](https://t.me/kub_mash), citing the referee himself.

According to Skavinsky, the attackers included Father Sergey Tvorzhinsky and his sons, who play for the “Rosseti” (3×3) team. The incident occurred after the team suffered a loss. It’s reported that the conflict was instigated by Tvorzhinsky’s wife, who allegedly began to voice complaints against the referee. Following this, Sergey intervened, and shortly afterward, his sons joined in. Skavinsky claims that he was knocked to the ground and kicked. He has since been diagnosed with a concussion, bruises, and a broken nose.

The victim has filed a police report. Tvorzhinsky declined to comment on the incident.
