The press service of the Formula 1 team Ferrari took to social media to congratulate British driver and 2025 season champion **Lando Norris** following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

“Congratulations, [Lando Norris](https://example.com/tags/27297-lando-norris/) on your remarkable individual victory!” the Italian team’s press office shared on platform X.

Going into the final race in Abu Dhabi, Norris was leading the championship, with a 12-point advantage over the reigning four-time champion Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing. To clinch the title, the British driver only needed to finish in the top three.

Norris has been competing in Formula 1 since 2019 when he made his debut as a race driver for McLaren at the Australian Grand Prix. In the 2024 season, he was already in the hunt for the championship in the personal standings but ultimately finished as the runner-up.
