Midfielder **Vasily Goncharov**, who played in the starting lineup for the media club “Amkal” in the match against “Kaluga,” has become the youngest footballer in the history of the Fonbet Russian Cup.

Goncharov (pictured right) was born on December 31, 2014. By the time of the match against “Kaluga” in the second round of the Regional Path of the Russian Cup, he was 14 years, 8 months, and 19 days old. The previous record was held by Roman Safonov, who played for “Kuban” in 2024 at the age of 14 years, 8 months, and 27 days.
