A man has lost his life and another has sustained severe injuries following a triple stabbing incident in west London.
Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service, responded to reports of the attack on Midhurst Gardens in Uxbridge at 5:00 PM GMT on Monday.
Paramedics provided treatment for stab wounds to a 49-year-old man, who unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man was transported to the hospital with life-altering injuries. Additionally, a 14-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital with knife injuries, according to police reports.
Authorities detained a 22-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He was initially taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons before being placed into police custody.
The family of the deceased has been notified and is receiving support from specially-trained officers.
An investigation is underway, with urgent inquiries continuing, as stated by the police.
