The head coach of the Russian national team, **Valery Karpin**, commented on the team’s record of unbeaten matches.

“This is the first time I’m hearing about a record. I don’t believe there are any special celebrations planned. For us, the most important thing is to secure a victory and maintain a positive atmosphere,” Karpin was quoted as saying by Championship correspondent Dmitry Zimin.

Karpin’s team is preparing for a friendly match against Chile, scheduled for November 15 at the Fisht Stadium in Sochi.

On November 12, the national team of Russia played a friendly against Peru. The match took place at Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg and ended in a 1-1 draw.
