Authorities are seeking assistance from the public in the search for a 13-year-old boy who has been missing for almost two weeks.
Abdul, whose last name is withheld due to his age, was last spotted on December 13th when he departed from his family residence in Islington, North London, wearing a black tracksuit and white sneakers, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Despite thorough investigations, there have been no sightings or communication from him, raising concerns for his safety as the cold weather persists.
His father expressed, “Our family is extremely worried about Abdul’s safety, and we are appealing to everyone for help in finding him.”
Investigators suggest that the boy may be in the Hounslow area of West London and have urged anyone who sees him to call 999 immediately, referencing 8067/13DEC.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur remarked, “Abdul should be celebrating Christmas Day with his loved ones, just like any other boy his age.”
“In light of the dropping temperatures, our anxiety for his well-being is growing, and we desperately want to ensure he returns home safely.”
“Abdul, if you happen to come across this message, please reach out to us or your family; all we want is for you to be home safe,” added Detective Chief Inspector Kaur.
