Tragic Incident: Five-Year-Old Boy Succumbs to Injuries After Golf Course Wall Collapse

A five-year-old boy lost his life after a wall fell on him and a girl at an adventure golf venue in south-east London.

Emergency services responded to calls at Sidcup Family Golf in Chislehurst at 5:40 PM GMT on Sunday regarding a child injured by a collapsing wall.

The boy was transported to the hospital in critical condition along with a six-year-old girl who also sustained injuries. Unfortunately, he later passed away at the hospital, while the girl has been released.

A representative from Sidcup Family Golf expressed their sorrow, stating, “It is with great sadness that we learn of the child’s tragic death from Sunday’s incident. Our deepest sympathies are with the family and friends during this extremely challenging time.”

They further noted, “We are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation by the authorities and are offering our complete support to those impacted by this unfortunate event.”

On Tuesday, the Metropolitan Police confirmed that their inquiries were still in process.
