Teenage Boy Injured in Racially Motivated Assault at London Underground Station

A teenage boy has suffered injuries in a racially motivated assault at a London Underground station, according to reports from the police.

The British Transport Police (BTP) responded to a call at Hampstead Tube station on Monday night regarding an alleged assault and robbery.

The victim was hospitalized for minor injuries but was later released, as stated by BTP.

Authorities have confirmed that they are treating the case as racially charged and are seeking information from the public.

Following the incident, the Shomrim neighbourhood watch, a Jewish community security organization, shared a post on social media indicating that “three Jewish boys were threatened with a knife by a group of six or seven attackers.”

The Community Security Trust (CST), an organization dedicated to safeguarding British Jews from threats of terrorism and anti-Semitism, released a statement that reads: “We are aware of the disturbing racist attack on a group of Jewish boys at Hampstead Station on May 26.”

“CST is in communication with one of the victims’ families to offer support,” the statement continued.

“CST is also liaising with the British Transport Police and Transport for London as the investigation progresses.

“We encourage anyone who witnessed the event or has pertinent information to reach out to the police or CST promptly.”
