The head of McLaren, **[Andrea Stella](https://yourlink.com)**, stated that the team has addressed the issues that arose after a disappointing performance at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Italian highlighted the challenges they faced with tire performance, aerodynamics, and car setup, all of which have now been resolved.

“Last year in Vegas, we encountered difficulties with tire behavior both during qualifying, where we struggled for speed, and in the race, where there was significant wear. We also faced aerodynamic issues: we lost too much effectiveness when reducing the rear wing’s load. Additionally, it became challenging to fine-tune the car while trying to compensate for the loss of tire grip and understeer.

Analyzing last year’s performance has provided us with valuable insights. Regarding tires, aerodynamic efficiency, and car setup, we now have a clear understanding of the direction we need to take.
