Squid Game Creator Admits Hes Too Exhausted to Work on a Spin-Off

The creator of the hit series “Squid Game,” Hwang Dong-hyuk, stated in an interview that the chances of a spin-off series are quite slim.

Initially, it was speculated that the project would explore events taking place during the two-year gap between the first and second seasons. However, the creator currently lacks the capacity to pursue this idea.

That said, Hwang has not completely ruled out the possibility of changing his mind in the future.

In a previous conversation, he revealed that he lost eight teeth due to stress while working on the third and final season, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 27.
